Internship Description
This internship offers project-based learning exposure to analog integrated circuit (IC) design, focusing on fundamental building blocks used in signal conditioning and sensor interface circuits. Participants will work on guided analog circuit design and simulation exercises, gaining practical experience with industry-standard tools and design methodologies.

Activities & Exposure
• Practice designing and simulating analog blocks such as amplifiers, current mirrors, and voltage references
• Analyze key performance metrics including gain, bandwidth, noise, and stability
• Explore power consumption trade-offs and basic layout considerations
• Summarize design results in structured technical reports and reviews

Outcomes
• Practical understanding of analog IC design workflows
• Experience interpreting simulation results and design trade-offs
• Exposure to industry-standard analog design tools and practices

Requirements

Preferred Background

  • Electrical Engineering or Microelectronics major

  • Familiarity with analog circuit theory and MOSFET operation

  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, or LTspice

  • Interest in analog or sensor-interface IC design
